How I got started
I got started with movement from a young age in various activities such as team sports, gymnastics and ballet. After a short career doing ballet professionally I decided to go to school to get my degree in International Studies and Japanese. While studying I completed my group fitness certification and have been having a ball teaching a variety of formats and workouts. My favorite classes to teach so far are Strength Training and HIIT.
What I’ll be doing at Pulse
I am instructing Barre at Pulse and am super excited to get everyone in for their first class!
What I love about Pulse
Pulse is super cool in that we show up here to workout, but once those fun lights and that loud music comes on, it really feels like we’re just partying! My favorite thing about instructing is environments like PulsePDX where we can not only work hard but play, have fun, and leave class feeling refreshed and full of positive energy.

Barre is one of a kind. Inspired from ballet, yoga and pilates perspectives of movement, this class will work your muscles in a way you haven’t experienced before. You don’t need any dance background to be a Barre star, just a yoga mat, a bender ball, and a passion movement and music!
