I’m a passionate and energetic dance fitness instructor dedicated to creating a fun, empowering environment for every student who walks through the door. As a newly welcomed teacher at the studio, I bring a love for movement and community, blending high-energy routines with an inclusive, supportive vibe.
I am licensed in Zumba® and certified in WERQ Fitness and Warrior Rhythm, allowing me to offer a diverse range of styles that keep classes fresh, dynamic, and accessible to all levels. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve fitness, and most importantly, have fun while doing it.
Outside of Pulse, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have two boys who are heavy into sports. Soccer mom, football mom, baseball mom, band mom, mathletes mom, and a dog mom to 3.

I’ve been in the construction business, selling windows and doors, for over 20 years, working with custom home builders and contractors. It’s a fun job when you get to see how design and engineering come together. I love football, especially when my Seahawks are playing, and any chance I can get to see friends, I squeeze that in as well.
When I was younger, I loved to dance. I was on the dance team in junior high and tried it in high school, but decided to play soccer instead. I enjoyed watching all the ballroom dance competitions every Saturday morning. That was part of my Saturday morning cartoons.
I had found Zumba back in 2006 and loved it. I was then diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2008. I knew I had to really get my health in check after that wake-up call. Then my mom got sick. After a short battle that cancer won, I took a hiatus from dance fitness to focus more on my family and getting things in order.

I had my first son in 2011, literally the last day of the year. After he turned 1, I wanted to get back into it. After trying multiple different places for about a year, I found Pulse. I loved the philosophy of this dance studio with no mirrors. The first class I came into was Jennifer and Julio’s. I instantly fell in love. Walked in 3/2014 and am still here! I was pregnant with my second in 2016, and it was so fun to dance on stage with my baby belly.
My whole family knows about Pulse and how much it means to me, and at one point in time, I think they have mostly all been. My goal is to get my brother to come take a class; he was on the dance team. He’s the last of my siblings to come to the studio. I know he would love it.
