About Me
I’m a mom of two (ages 7 and 9), a wife, and someone who spent many years pouring into everyone else before realizing I needed something that was just for me, too. Most of my days are filled with school drop-offs, sports practices, and cheering on my kids in whatever they’re passionate about. But somewhere along the way, I realized I missed feeling connected to myself, my body, my mind, and my spirit.
Before the pandemic, I was working as a birth doula. Supporting families through such a powerful and transformative time felt like my calling. I’m also a Reiki Master, and that background shapes how I see connection, how energy works within us, and how we exchange it with others.
Dance has always been a part of my life. I started young with ballet and tap, and while my training ended over time, movement never really left me; it just looked different. In adulthood, most of my dancing happened in more social settings (think: letting loose and having fun), and that’s the energy I love bringing into my classes now. It’s not about perfection; it’s about expression, confidence, freedom and joy.
After years as a stay-at-home mom and especially after the heaviness of ending my doula practice during the pandemic, I felt overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. I was craving something that felt like self-care, but also gave me energy back. Walking into Pulse for the first time felt like stepping into a version of myself I hadn’t seen in a long time… and honestly, an even more badass version.
I started on one of those yellow dots on the Pulse dance floor, just trying something new. It didn’t take long before I was completely hooked. The music, the movement, the community, the energy, it brought happiness back into my life in a way I didn’t even realize I was missing.
Over the past 4½ years, my body, mind, and spirit have transformed in ways I never expected. Incorporating strength training into my routine was a major turning point—my back stopped going out, chronic aches disappeared, and I started to feel strong, capable, and supported in my own body again.
Why You Should Try My Class
Because we’re going to have FUN.
My classes are high-energy, a little spicy and full of that “dance like nobody’s watching” vibe. I want you to feel free, confident, strong and leave with your cup full.
You don’t need to be a dancer. You don’t need to be experienced in Pilates. You just need to show up. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, and we’ll grow together from there.
When I’m not at Pulse, I’m with my family, running between sports, school, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with parenting two active kids. I also help my husband with social media for his wine shop, Flor Wines, and work alongside my sister at her clothing store, Ruby Shade, modeling and creating content.
I try to carve out time for friends too. It doesn’t always happen as much as I’d like, but I’m very social and love being around my people whenever I can.
Life is full, busy, and a little wild. Pulse is where I come back to myself.
