I currently teach WARRIOR Rhythm™ at PulsePDX but started out as a student back in 2012, After getting licensed as a Zumba instructor, I guest taught during class in 2013, and have enjoyed all of the different formats available! From Strength classes, to dancing, to Melt – it’s so nice to have so many options all under one amazing roof!

PulsePDX has always been such a welcoming & open community. I’ve always felt seen and loved, and getting to know everyone and connecting is one of my favorite things. Community is so important for us all to thrive and support one another through all of life’s surprises. Pulse also attracts such a diverse group of folks – I’ve made so many amazing friends thanks to Pulse!
MY STORY
how I got started
I started dancing when I was around 7 years old and was in dance all throughout high school. It was then that I discovered ballet, which became my passion, and I trained and performed until around age 22. I’ve always been interested in health, fitness, and wellness. I studied Bikram Yoga seriously for about seven years, until I discovered Zumba! I became a Zumba Fitness instructor in 2012 then added Zumba Step, and Zumba Toning to my licenses. The Beachbody workout at home caught my attention, which is when I discovered PiYo and the local Master Trainer, Ellen de Werd, who, many years later, in 2020, created WARRIOR Rhythm. I immediately got certified with her and am so in love with ALL we do in class. Yoga-ish + weights + HIIT + mindfulness. We do it all!

Join me for an upbeat yoga-ish class set to a super dynamic playlist! Come stretch and strengthen your body using weights and your body weight, I love to offer modifications so everyone feels successful in each class! WARRIOR Rhythm™ also has a mindfulness piece to it – we have a theme to help us connect our body, mind, & soul. Fitness should be fun – see you in class soon!
